Q: How do I get tickets?
A: Tickets may be purchased online in advance, as well as at the gate April 1-3. Cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. Checks are not accepted.
Q: What’s the best route to take when traveling to the Virginia Horse Festival at The Meadow?
A: From Interstate 95, take Exit 98 (Doswell) and travel 1½ miles east on state Route 30. If traffic is heavy, consider taking U.S. Route 301 to state Route 30; travel about 3 miles west on Route 30. Q: Are all of the attractions included in my admission ticket, or is there an additional cost?
A: General admission tickets include all seminars, clinics, demonstrations and nightly entertainment. Some additional events and activities may have an additional charge.
Q: What kind of security measures will be in place during the festival?
A: The safety of our guests and exhibitors and their animals, our vendors and our employees is our No. 1 priority. The event will be staffed by licensed security professionals and state and local law enforcement.
We reserve the right to conduct personal and bag checks at the ticket gates.
Q: Do vendors take cash and credit cards?
A: Some vendors accept major credit cards; some are cash-only. There are ATMs available on the property.
Q: Can I bring in my own wheelchair or motorized scooter?
A: You are welcome to bring your own wheelchair or motorized scooter. Handicap-accessible restrooms are available on the property.
Q: Can I bring in my own stroller or wagon?
A: Yes, you can bring your own stroller or wagon for your children to use on the property.
Q: Can I bring my pet with me to the Virginia Horse Festival?
A: We welcome service animals, but no pets allowed.
Q: Can I bring in food or drinks?
A: No outside food or beverages are allowed.
Q: Can I bring my knife or gun to Virginia Horse Festival?
A: Festival management prohibits weapons of any kind from entering the property, including pocket knives. We ask that guests leave those items in their vehicles before purchasing their tickets or coming to the main gate.

A: The Meadow Event Park is operated by Commonwealth Fairs & Events, a subsidiary of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, a nonprofit organization.
